Healthy Diet for Six Pack Abs

Be honest for second, do you really want a six pack? Most people really, really want a six pack. So why don’t you have a six pack yet? Maybe you’ve tried many different diet programs and routines and just can’t seem to get it right. Maybe you’ve been trying to get that size 32 waistline for years, but have had little to no success. It doesn’t matter what all those fitness “experts” say, proper dieting and exercise is the key to six pack abs.

Dieting is very, very important to your fat loss goods, or any other health and fitness goals that you may have. Your diet controls about 80 percent of your results!!! 80 PERCENT!!! So if you want to really see some abs, you’ve got to get the right diet.

Here are some tips for dieting for six pack abs:

- Drink Water. Water serves many functions. It’s calorie free, it cleanses the body from harmful toxins, it prevents dehydration, and helps control your appetite by leaving you feeling full. The average person needs about one gallon of water per day.

- Eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Studies have shown that people who eat healthy, natural foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains and animal proteins, often find that they can eat as much as they would like and not gain any weight. People who switch from a diet with lots of processed foods eat more, consume fewer calories, and lose fat.

- Eat lots of protein. Protein is the building block of muscle. Muscles are like the “metabolizers” of fat. The average person needs about one gram of protein per pound of body weight per day. Protein should be combined with regular resistance training.

- Add fiber to your diet. Fiber keeps you feeling full sooner. It stays in your stomach longer, slowing your digestion rate, making you feel full longer.

Six pack abs require a whole lot of work to attain. Proper diet and a regular exercise regiment is a must if you want those six pack abs. Dieting is responsible for about 80 percent of your results!!! So the importance of dieting cannot be stressed enough.
